ACROSS THE BRIDGE by Anatoly Dimarov

In a Foreword, Mr. Tkacz explains that Anatoly Dimarov is a contemporary Ukrainian author who lives and works in Kyiv. To date he has published 15 books. “Dimarov develops his characters with deep psychological insight; seemingly unimportant incidents reflect on the common denominator of human character, which transcends all national boundaries.”

The author draws heavily on his childhood years in a Ukrainian village, and while his novel is relatively short, it is rich in human experience and character delineation. We congratulate Mr. Tkacz on the excellence of his translation.

The novel is published in a paperback edition and should soon be available in city bookshops. Copies may also be obtained direct from Mr. Yuri Tkacz […].
